Christmas illumination in Sapporo
The past few days has been lots of fascination of snow. Having the mid year conference. So off to Sapporo we go. Entertained myself taking loads of pictures of snow landscapes.
When we did get to Sapporo, however, most of the snow's melted away. First thing we did, spent like 2 hours trying to get our train routes worked out for December trip. If the JR staff took 2 hours, I would probably take forever. When we're finally done, Ka Man and I were just too eager to shop and walk in the city. We didn't even bother to check in and just lugged our luggage around. Coincidentally, Sapporo is having Christmas light up and a Christmas fair of sorts. Would love to buy some of those German roast nuts but too bad they're ridiculously expensive. Still it was pretty...

From the train
The hotel was great too. Warm and cosy. Haven't slept so well for quite a while. It's got a nice view too..It's gonna be that much harder to go back to a cold icy apartment.
