Let It Snow...Start of Hibernation?
Yup, the snow is finally piling up. Drove for the first time on snowy roads a couple of days ago. Finally got a feel of what people have been telling me. The car really does slide like it's on a ice rink. Still not totally clear about what to expect on the roads, and really can't afford to get into any more accidents or whatsoever, so gotta be extra careful. Drove extremely slow. Think I might need to get a 'new driver' plate, or a "I'm a gaijin" plate, before people get annoyed by my "crawling" driving.Gotta wake up extra early to leave time for sweeping and scrapping snow/ice off the car and slow traffic. And it's so hard just to get out of bed - the only warm place besides right next to my stove heater. And so need a proper pair of winter shoes to walk on the snow too...
Is my car COOL or what?

hey totally understand how u feel about not wanting to het out of bed. though situation in yamagata is milder than your side, I'm starting to get to work later and later. omg..the icy roads sound scary >_<
